Where It Started
Hello, my name is Ugochi Obidiegwu. My brain is wired to see patterns and develop solutions end to end. I take complex, high-stakes problems and build systems — tools, programmes, stories, products — that make them accessible to people who were previously excluded from the solution.
It began with a LinkedIn message, a conversation with God, and a gap so obvious it demanded a response. In 2016, I founded The Safety Chic, a child safety social enterprise, because there were too many preventable accidents in the news that safety education could have prevented. What followed was a decade of building: storybooks in two languages, a game app, an annual School Safety Summit, speaking stages from Lagos to Las Vegas to Brussels, and thousands of children trained across eight countries.
That journey taught me something I could not have learned any other way: the gap between what exists and what people deserve is not inevitable. It is a design problem. And design problems have solutions.

I work with impact-oriented founders, nonprofits, and social enterprises to sharpen their positioning, strengthen their systems, and communicate their value to the funders and partners who matter. I am the founder of Ednaimo — an AI-native adaptive learning platform built to close the foundational learning gap for children. Culturally grounded, curriculum-aligned, and designed for the children that existing edtech was never built for.
Faith & Writing
I write about what it looks like to follow God through the impossible. My book, Stories of Faith: A Girl's Walk With Her Lord, is an honest account of a decade of faith, provision, and the kind of miracles that only make sense in hindsight.
Development & Community
Through UGIP Foundation and my mentorship work, I invest in emerging African leaders — equipping them with the practical tools, frameworks, and community they need to build well and go far.
